Our bilingual research staff and investigators bring extensive experience across Phase 1a through Phase 4 studies, post-marketing trials, outpatient and sleep research, as well as observational, retrospective, and registry studies. We have also built strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare providers and various organizations in multiple therapeutic areas throughout our community and in Mexico.

Flexible participant study visit hours available Monday–Thursday, with appointments offered until 6:30 PM

Dedicated physical exam and EKG rooms

Manual and electronic blood pressure monitoring devices

Manual and digital weighing scales

Stadiometer for height measurements

Ambient & Refrigerated centrifuges

-20°C and -80°C laboratory freezers for investigational product and specimen storage

Locked medical-grade refrigerator for study medications and lab samples

Bilingual investigators and research staff

Designated phlebotomy area

Separate research center entrance, distinct from our Principal Investigator’s private practice

Comfortable waiting area for study participants and their families

Kid-friendly space to accommodate families during visits

Private monitoring room with ample space and amenities for sponsor/CRO visits

Several dedicated assessment and consenting rooms to ensure participant and caregiver/family members privacy

Annually calibrated equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance

Double-locked, temperature-controlled investigational product room with restricted access

Capabilities for handling Schedule I investigational products and studies

Imaging facilities are available just down the street from our site

Find Your Way to Sun Valley Research Center Facilities

 

From San Diego, CA – San Diego International Airport (SAN)

• Exit the airport and take I-5 S.
• Merge onto I-805 S toward Chula Vista.
• Continue onto I-8 E toward El Centro.
• Take exit 115 for Imperial Avenue toward CA-86 S.
• Drive south on CA-86 S until you reach Marshall Ave.
• Turn left onto Marshall Ave.
• Arrive at Sun Valley Research Center on your right.
• Travel time: Approximately 2 hours.


From Yuma, AZ – Yuma International Airport (YUM)

• Exit the airport and take E 32nd St to I-8 W.
• Follow I-8 W into California.
• Take exit 115 for Imperial Ave/CA-86 S toward Brawley.
• Continue on CA-86 S to Marshall Ave.
• Turn left onto Marshall Ave.
• Arrive at Sun Valley Research Center on your right.
• Travel time: Approximately 1 hour.


From Palm Springs, CA – Palm Springs International Airport (PSP)

• Leave the airport and head north on El Cielo Rd.
• Turn left onto E Ramon Rd.
• Merge onto I-10 E via the ramp to Indio.
• Continue on I-10 E, then take exit 145 for CA-86 S toward Brawley.
• Follow CA-86 S all the way to Marshall Ave in Imperial.
• Turn right onto Marshall Ave.
• Arrive at Sun Valley Research Center on your right.
• Travel time: Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.
